During October 16-18, 2018 the Conference on Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics – KKBN-2018 – in Kołobrzeg (Kolberg), Poland traditionally took place. Hundreds of specialists became part of the event. They represented companies specializing in NDT means manufacture and sales. OKOndt GROUP™ was invited to the Conference by its partner – the Polish company PCB Service.
A range of important NDT issues was covered at the Conference, namely:
- peculiarities of NDT in industry and construction, transport and power sectors
- high-end instruments and equipment for reliable and effective non-destructive testing
- NDT methods, software
- technical diagnostics of devices and structures
- standardization in non-destructive testing
- methods of training, qualifications improvement, and personnel certification that are implemented in the sector.
Besides the informative part, the KKBN-2018 Exhibition also took place, where OKO group of companies participated as well. The engineers of OKOndt GROUP™ represented a booth with the latest developments of the company and held the presentations of the products such as:
- the Sonocon B ultrasonic flaw detector that, along with the flaw detection, can assure thickness measuring and evaluation of velocity of the UT oscillations in various materials
- the ExScan1000 ultrasonic thickness gauge— the device is capable of measuring thickness of different materials with an accuracy of up to ± 0.01 mm
- the Eddycon C portable eddy current flaw detector — intended for manual testing of the discontinuities in materials in oil and gas, energy, aviation, chemical sectors and machine engineering
- the UDS2-77 — is a single rail line ultrasonic trolley for continuous rails testing.
The company intends to further make the efforts to create and implement technical solutions that will meet the requirements of the customers in a comprehensive manner, and assure ease of use and results accuracy. To achieve latter goal, OKOndt GROUP™specialists are constantly improving the visualization of the rail ultrasonic testing results and of the other NDT tools to help operators conduct their work more efficiently.
